As part of of setting up GK Icon we knew it would be important to set up links with professional clubs, so we have done this.

These links come in a variety of forms, whether it be our GK Icon coach or consultant who is affiliated with a professional outfit or connections formed with academy managers. These links offer us benefits not available to most other goalkeeping outfits.

One of the major benefits will be the promise of trials at professional clubs for goalkeepers of every centre, as has been the case with our pilot centre in Watford 2009/10.

In many venues we can also boast that our GK Icon head coach for that particular venue is also the GK coach for an academy of a professional club, once again making the bond between us and professional outfits that much stronger.

As such, GK Icon is the perfect start for a young keeper who has ambitions of being the next GK Icon!
