Firstly let me formally introduce myself, my name is Mike Williamson, I'm 26 years old and I'm currently playing my football with Newcastle United.

I was born in Stoke on Trent but started my career with Torquay utd, before signing for Southampton in 2001. I also had loan spells back with Torquay and Wycombe Wanderers before signing permanently for the Chairboys (Wycombe Wanderers) in 2005.

Watford secured my services in 2009, but a 2 million transfer to Portsmouth soon followed at the beginning of the following campaign. I have now signed a three and a half year contract with Newcastle United.

I'm going to write 12 monthly blogs ranging from, communication to, the best goal keepers I've worked with, including their attributes, and many more.
