Knowing that GK Icon is only as good as our coaches, we have put an incredible effort into sourcing knowledgeable and highly-qualified Goalkeeper coaches. It is mandatory that our coaches have the following:

• CRB checked
• First aid certificate
• Level 2 Goalkeeping coaching badge
• Excellent interpersonal skills & general football knowledge
• Have agreed to adopt the GK Icon goalkeeping ethos

Each coach will be given a copy of the GK Icon Coaching bible which will be packed with new and exciting goalkeeping training drills to maximise improvements while keeping the element of fun intact.

Each coach will have certain guidelines to follow to make the coaching experience with GK Icon an unforgettable one.

We fully believe each and every goalkeeper should be given regular constructive feedback on a session by session basis, so rather than purely putting on a goalkeeping training ‘session’ it will be very much a learning environment where each keeper will leave the venue with feedback on where they could add to their game and reach their full potential.

Each goalkeeping coach will also be approachable, so any issues or feedback to either GK Icon or the coach themselves will be welcomed and resolved where possible.
