What can be expected from a GK Icon coaching course?

GK Icon has siphoned information from the years of experience offered by its highly regarded consultants to bring together a manual that will be supplied to every GK Icon goalkeeper coach, in order for them to help relay those learning onto all we coach.

A combination of technical, physical and mental drills will form the basis of each GK Icon session attended. Each session will have a specific structure with the key idea to promote skills more commonly seen in a gymnast rather than the stereotypical English goalkeeper of the past.

Gone are the days when height and a set of ‘good hands’ would be enough to secure a profession in football. We at GK Icon are fully aware of this and will tap into every different aspect needed to produce fantastic results and help you to enjoy goalkeeping like never before.

We will give you the tools to improve your spring, speed of feet, technique on shot stopping, improved cross taking and to be able to distribute with incredible accuracy. All while having plenty of fun in a friendly learning environment.
