After 11 years in professional football I thought it time to impart some knowledge on today’s young goalkeepers.
Goalkeeping is my passion, it’s as simple as that and I relish the challenge of working with aspiring goalkeepers who also share a love for goalkeeping. Whether you play purely for fun or want to progress your skills then the sessions I produce will be right for you.
As well as being a professional goalkeeper for the past 11 years I’m also a master practitioner of NLP, a form of psychology that has not only allowed me to produce my best football in the past couple of seasons but also armed with the tools to get the best out of those I coach.
With my own career still very much a consideration I won’t be able to take every session however I will plan each session personally and be present at least once during each six week course to keep an eye on each and every goalkeeper and answer any goalkeeping related questions you may have.
I will be assisted by Jamie Irving. Jamie was a fellow goalkeeper during my time at Watford FC, a fantastic goalkeeper in his own right but one who fell foul of the believe that you need to be a giant in order to play professionally! I’ve recruited Jamie for several reasons;
- He shares the same philosophy as myself
- He’s a fantastic coach
- He loves goalkeeping
- He’s a great communicator and will get the best from those he coaches
We will run sessions from 4 venues weekly during term time, each session will be for one hour and we will hold 3 per evening split into different age groups. There is no limit in regards to age. The venues we will be operating from are as follows;
- Welwyn Garden City –Monday Evening- 5.30pm-8.30pm
- Watford Tuesday evening – 5.30pm-8.30pm
- Barnet – TBC – 5.30-8.30pm
- Aylesbury – Thursday evening – 5.30pm-8.30pm

Watford venue will be at evergreen fc, southway, Abbots langley, Hertforshire, WD5 OJL
Aylesbury venue will be at wingrave sports and social club,wingslow road, Wingrave, Aylesbury, HP224QB.
Barnet venue is yet to be confirmed....
We will run each session on grass and have state of the art floodlights on hand to allow us to do so.
Pricing
We will be running weekly sessions at each venue next season (minimum of 46 weeks of the year)
